Gilomen Innovations big tire mudder secondary spring for 2018+ new body style Ranger 1000 models which came with the P90X clutch system. This spring is designed to accomodate machines that have larger tires. The spring applies more side force to the drive belt to prevent slippage under heavy load situations. It offer better backshifting and helps maintain RPM under load.
This spring is also used on the SOHC Ranger 1000 Basic Models
Installed this spring in my 2020 SOHC Ranger, along with a previously installed Gilomen ECU Tune , seems like the spring makes the machine alot more responsive when throttle is applied, seems like it runs a couple hundred RPM more at any given speed as compared to the stock spring, also seems like the engine braking is enhanced, overall I like it.
