Description
The Ranger Gold Pro complete primary and secondary clutch system is an extreme, heavy-duty upgrade over the stock Ranger 1000 clutches. This clutch system is engineered to handle just about anything you can throw at it. Road riding has always been hard on the original P90X clutch, so we designed this clutch to last for many thousands of miles of road riding with ease. We have several of these out in use with well over 10k miles and the clutches look like new yet. Mud, hills, roads, utility use, plowing, pulling, and racing are all not a problem for this clutch! The Gold Pro clutch system will come pre calibrated and ready to bolt on. The outer cover is billet aluminum with cooling slots and fins, allowing more airflow and cooler belt temps. The bushing is retained with a spiral clip to prevent bushing movement. This clutch eliminates the hard shifting in and out of gear problem that the 2018+ Ranger 1000 models have due to the stock horrible design of the EBS mechanism. The stock EBS system is the root of many problems on the stock Ranger 1000 clutch. This Ranger Gold Pro clutch comes with a non ebs high strength two-way needle bearing, which eliminates the hard shifting problem and allows the machine to coast better when decelerating. This is by far the strongest and smoothest operating primary clutch option available for your 2018+ Ranger 1000. If you have problems with your stock primary clutch on your Ranger 1000 then this is the clutch for you. You can choose between the GPP torque monster clutch kit or the super low rpm fuel mileage clutch kit. The GPP Torque Monster weights allow for smooth operation, amazing belt grip, and strong acceleration. The weights are fully adjustable so you can change the RPM range for mods to the machine like gear reduction, larger tires and performance ecu tuning. The low rpm fuel mileage clutch kit makes for very smooth and quiet operation, which it also gets amazing gas mileage! This HD secondary clutch assembly has beefed up castings and stronger bushing retention. The problem areas of the old clutch are improved for better strength and longevity. Comes with a heavy-duty billet bushing retainer plate to prevent the bushing from moving. The fins on the outer sheave are larger to provide improved cooling for longer clutch and belt life. The helix in this clutch has reduced back cut for less engine braking, which provides smoother operation and a much improved driving experience. It comes pre-set up for your machine build. It is ready to bolt on. You simply remove your original clutches and bolt these on. Your stock belt works with this clutch system. The 2018+ Ranger 1000 primary clutch puller tool works on this clutch. This clutch system does not have EBS.
