2025 Ranger 1000XP FUEL SAVER CLUTCH KIT

 

This clutch kit is engineered for maximum fuel mileage and quiet / low rpm operation.  Low to mid-speed rpm is greatly reduced.  It takes minimal throttle to maintain cruising speed compared to stock clutching.  Cab noise is also greatly reduced due to the low rpm nature of this clutch kit.  We saw just over a 40% increase in fuel mileage on our Ranger 1000 during testing!  Trail riding and cruisings characteristics are very mellow mannered and smooth. This clutch kit is amazing for rock crawling, hunting, cruisings around, ice fishing, ranch work, trail riding, road riding, plowing snow, running tracks and more!   This clutch kit is NOT a performance clutch kit.   Once the clutches are fully shifted out at max travel the engine rpm will start to rise so you can still achieve top speed if desired.   The clutch weights are made out of high carbon blended steel with our extremely hard black diamond coating, so corrosion is non-existent.  Longevity of these weights is second to none!  The weights have replaceable multi layer friction free bushings that last for thousands of miles without maintenance.  The spring is made out of the super high quality spring steel with a powder coated finish.  Everything is designed and produced in the USA!  We saw cruising rpm of, 4800rpm at 50 mph with this!!

Do to the heightened sensitivity of the 2025+ Polaris Ranger Misfire parameters, we highly recommend purchasing either the false misfire tune or performance tune with this clutch kit. We have seen high numbers of machines develop false misfire codes, resulting in machines going into limp mode with the installation of this kit.

 

Performance Tune 

Gilomen Innovations Polaris Ranger 1000 G5 100 HP ECU tune. This tune is specifically designed for the 2018+ Ranger 1000 gen 2 models. Each tune is set up specifically for your exact model and tire size. This tune and clutch kit turns your slow doggy Ranger in to a powerful, fun, fast and very responsive machine! The three position performance switch on the dash remains fully functional. The "work" and "standard" modes stay stock, while the "Performance" mode offers all out power!. If your machine is equipped with turf mode, I can assure you it will stay fully functional just as it was designed to be. This tune does not cause any codes / check engine lights. It allows 100% power in All gears. The seat-belt limiter is disabled. This tune version is the most aggressive and only reflash currently offered by Gilomen Innovations for the 1000cc Ranger models. It performs great on 87 octane gas and even better on 91 octane gas. All engine protections are left in place. Fuel and timing maps are revised for peak performance on pump gas while keeping your piston crown temps and valves cooler than stock. Additional protection is offered by lowering the cooling fan temp from 205 degrees down to 190 to keep your engine running cooler and lasting longer. The rev limiter is raised to a safe 8800 RPM, Speed limiters in all gears are eliminated. Clutch tuning is absolutely needed with this tune, that is why I offer this ECU tune with clutch kit options to allow the engine to run at the RPM where peak power and efficiency is. The stock clutching is designed to run at 6100-6400 RPM which is way too low for this tune, after this ECU tune the peak HP is over 7000 RPM. If you want full potential out of this tune, you absolutely NEED to re-clutch. The Elite shift clutch kit is amazing with this tune.  Take off is very smooth yet very responsive. We also offer our Torque Monster adjustable clutch kit for people looking for amazing torque to the wheels, unreal belt grip, and strong acceleration. I have had several people ask if their heater will work as good in the winter after the 20 degree cooler fan temps, and the answer is absolutely yes. I have tested this during the harsh winter in Minnesota on my personal machine and found the heat works exactly the same. The reason for this is that the engine has a 180 degree thermostat and during the winter the cooling fan rarely comes on with or without a tuned ECU, but the thermostat is always maintaining proper engine temp to keep the heater core hot.

 

False Misfire Tune

This is a fix to eliminate the 65590, 65591, 65592 false misfire code problems on all Polaris twin cylinder models.  This is for machines with the stock Polaris factory programming. This fix can not be performed on ECU's that have been tuned by another tuning shop.

The 2025 Ranger 1000 XP type models have a security locked type ECU which cannot be tuned remotely using the ez lynk device, Dynojet device, or Gilomen I flash device at this time.
