The Ranger Gold Pro primary clutch is an extreme, heavy-duty upgrade over the stock Ranger 1000 clutch. This clutch is engineered to handle just about anything you can throw at it.  Road riding has always been hard on the original P90X clutch, so we designed this clutch to last for many thousands of miles of road riding with ease.  Mud, hills, roads, utility use, plowing, pulling, and racing are all not a problem for this clutch!  We have several of these out in use with well over 10k miles and the clutches look like new yet.  The Gold Pro clutch is calibrated with whichever clutch kit you choose so it will come ready to be bolted on.  The outer cover is billet aluminum with cooling slots and fins, allowing more airflow and cooler belt temps.  The bushing is retained with a spiral clip to prevent bushing movement.  This clutch eliminates the hard shifting in and out of gear problem that the 2018+ Ranger 1000 models have due to the stock horrible design of the EBS mechanism. The stock EBS system is the root of many problems on the stock Ranger 1000 clutch. This Ranger Pro clutch comes with a non EBS high strength two-way needle bearing, which eliminates the hard shifting problem and allows the machine to coast better when decelerating. This is by far the strongest and smoothest operating primary clutch option available for your 2018+ Ranger 1000. If you have problems with your stock primary clutch on your Ranger 1000 then this is the clutch for you.  If you choose our amazing GPP Torque Monster performance clutch kit, we will set it up for your machine build weather it's stock or modified, so all you need to do is bolt the clutch on. The Torque Monster weights allow for smooth operation, amazing belt grip, and strong acceleration.  The weights are fully adjustable, so you can change the RPM range for mods to the machine like gear reduction, larger tires and performance ecu tuning.  If you choose the low rpm fuel mileage clutch kit, you can enjoy low rpm, quite riding while also getting outstanding fuel mileage.  The low rpm fuel mileage clutch kit is not designed for performance. 

You simply remove your original clutch and bolt this one on. Your stock belt and plastic clutch housing cover work perfectly with this clutch. The 2018+ Ranger 1000 primary clutch puller tool works on this clutch. This clutch does not have EBS.  Fits 2018 and newer new body style Ranger 1000 Models

Warranty Information

GILOMEN RANGER GOLD PRO PRIMARY CLUTCH WARRANTY The Gilomen Ranger Gold Pro clutch warranty is separate from the Polaris vehicle warranty. Gilomen Innovations provides a limited warranty on the primary clutch for defects in materials and workmanship for general consumer use. It does not cover claims of defective design. The warranty term of coverage is as follows: Primary Clutch: Year 1 of the warranty. Free repair. Customer is responsible for returning the clutch to Gilomen Innovations. Gilomen Innovations will cover the shipping of the clutch back to the customer in the USA after the warranty repairs are completed. The term begins on the date of purchase by the original purchaser. This warranty is non transferable. This limited warranty does not cover acts of God, accidental damage, normal wear and tear, abuse or improper handling. The following conditions void the warranty: Improper installation. (cracked inner sheave due to over torquing the main bolt or stripped spider splines from under torquing ) Installation of tires with a diameter greater than the O.E.M. tire diameter without compensating gear reduction such as portals, transmission gearing or both, Not performing prescribed routine maintenance by removing the clutch housing every 1000 miles to 1) blow the dust out of the clutch, 2) examine the belt, movable sheave and other components for abnormal wear indicating a problem needing corrective action. Not ensuring adequate and continuous cooling air through the clutch housing. This includes intake vents and outlets plugged with snow, dust or debris. Use of an improper belt. Burning the belt to the point that it overheats the clutch or damages the sheaves. Modifications of any kind to the clutch. Water in the clutch housing / corrosion. Abnormal dust conditions such as abrasive dust or running in very dusty conditions without filters or particle separators. Driver abuse such as continuing to operate in HI gear when LO gear is the proper gear.See Owner’s Manual Supplement. The Polaris vehicle is covered by its respective Polaris warranty. The Gilomen Innovations limited warranty does not cover the Polaris vehicle or its components. This warranty replaces all previous warranties expressed or implied.

    Installed primary and secondary for a customer on their 2021 Polaris 1000 Northstar. Customer stated it had never shifted that nice even when it was brand new!!!

    This is by far the smoothest operating clutch out there in my personal opinion I’ve tried plenty of clutches and configurations and this is by far a game changer! No clunk no nothing! Super impressed

    Primary replacement clutch

    I purchased the primary clutch replacement, and could not be happier. My journey started when I broke the shift lever on my Polaris Angier, 1000 XP 2018 and then proceeded to break the shift lever cable shortly after replacing the handle. This led me down the path of research and ended up realizing that the primary clutch on this year Polaris ranger XP 1000 are junk. I replaced it easily by watching the Gillean videos videos, and a few others with the clutch pulling tool reinstalled my existing belt, and the difference was miraculous. If you have this year Polaris Ranger, you should replace the primary clutch immediately.

    Ranger Gold Pro Upgrade Clutch

    This is the third primary clutch I have installed on my Polaris Ranger XP 1000 that is running 8" portals on 37" tires on 22" wheels. I tried the Dura Clutch 1st and could not get the top end speed i wanted. I then purchased the Ranger PRO Upgrade Primary Clutch and have it as my back up spare. This Ranger Gold Pro is my favorite Primary so far as the shift is very smooth, no clutch rattles at an idle, engagement is smooth with no clunk/play at take off. The low end take off through 40mph pulls harder than any other primary clutch I have ran in the 13,000 plus miles I have put on this Ranger 1000. This Primary is a 10 out of 10 for me!

    The clutch is 100 times better than the original. The alignment video was easy to follow and the adjustment was easy to do
