Warranty Information
TEAM DOMINATOR PRIMARY CLUTCH and TEAM TIED SECONDARY CLUTCH WARRANTY
The TEAM DOMINATOR primary clutch warranty is separate from the Polaris vehicle warranty. Gilomen Innovations provides a limited warranty on the primary clutch for defects in materials and workmanship for general consumer use. It does not cover claims of defective design.
The warranty term of coverage is as follows:
Primary Clutch: Year 1 of the warranty. Free repair. Customer is responsible for returning the clutch to Gilomen Innovations. Gilomen Innovations will cover the shipping of the clutch back to the customer in the USA after the warranty repairs are completed.
Primary Clutch: Year 2 of the warranty. The costs of the repair are covered 50% by Gilomen Innovations and 50% by the customer. Customer is responsible for returning the clutch to Gilomen Innovations. Gilomen Innovations will cover the shipping of the clutch back to the customer in the USA after the warranty repairs are completed.
The term begins on the date of purchase by the original purchaser. This warranty is non-transferable.
This limited warranty does not cover acts of God, accidental damage, normal wear and tear, abuse or improper handling.
The following conditions void the warranty:
Improper installation. (cracked inner sheave due to over torquing the main bolt)
Installation of tires with a diameter greater than the O.E.M. tire diameter without compensating gear reduction such as portals, transmission gearing or both.
Not performing prescribed routine maintenance by removing the clutch housing every 1000 miles to 1) blow the dust out of the clutch, 2) examine the belt, movable sheave and other components for abnormal wear indicating a problem needing corrective action.
Not ensuring adequate and continuous cooling air through the clutch housing. This includes intake vents and outlets plugged with snow, dust or debris.
Use of an improper belt.
Burning the belt to the point that it overheats the clutch or damages the sheaves.
Modifications of any kind to the clutch.
Water in the clutch housing / corrosion.
Abnormal dust conditions such as abrasive dust or running in very dusty conditions without filters or particle separators.
Driver abuse such as continuing to operate in HI gear when LO gear is the proper gear. See Owner's Manual Supplement.
The Polaris vehicle is covered by its respective Polaris warranty. The Gilomen Innovations limited warranty does not cover the Polaris vehicle or its components.
This warranty replaces all previous warranties expressed or implied.
