Description

Our Elite Shift clutch kit offers very smooth take off and is designed to allow the engine to run at the proper RPM where it performs the best. The kit consists of primary weights, spring and detailed instructions. We offer the Elite Shift clutch kits for stock and tuned machines.

If you have a 2013-2016 900 model, I suggest installing the Spider Jam nut if your machine did not come with it to prevent the spider from coming loose in extreme conditions. Polaris started using this jam nut in 2016 on most models.

If you are running larger than 29" tires, you will need to purchase the Mudder Secondary Spring, which will squeeze the drive belt harder, preventing belt slippage.

    Clutch engagement comes on alot faster. Changes the whole machine. I did change the belt also of course.

    My old stock clutch had 7000miles on it. I ordered a new clutch from Polaris and installed the shift kit. WOW. Engagement is smooth as silk. Better than it was when it was new. Installing the kit was super easy. Wish I had done it thousands of miles ago. My only complaint is I didn’t get a sticker with it lol.

    Other comments are right on - this kit makes an amazing difference: smooth engagement at far lower RPM. The installation of the clutch kit itself is simple and directions are clear. On my 2018 Ranger 900 the removal of the plastic clutch cover was very difficult. We’re I to do it again, I’d remove the air box and grease nipple as one of the videos suggests.

    This kit was everything I was hoping for. My starts and stops are smooth and not jerky. When I shift into gear there is no hesitation. I'm happy I spent the money on this kit.

    My wife and I have been suffering with the delayed take off on our factory 2014 Ranger XP. Finally decided to make a change. This kit from Gilomen is perfect? Clutch engagement is at a little lower RPM and very, very smooth. Cant be happier!! Thank you Terry!
