Warranty Information

The DURACLUTCH warranty is separate from the Polaris RANGER/RZR vehicle warranty. SVI, LLC provides a limited warranty on the DURACLUTCH for defects in materials and workmanship for general consumer use. This includes the primary, secondary and belt. It does not cover claims of defective design. SVI, LLC is responsible for DURACLUTCH warranty. The warranty term of coverage is as follows: Belt: 5000 miles Primary and Secondary: one year or 3000 miles, whichever occurs first. The term begins on the date of purchase by the original purchaser. This warranty is transferable to a subsequent owner but does not extend the original term of the warranty. This limited warranty does not cover acts of God, accidental damage, normal wear and tear, abuse or improper handling. The following conditions void the warranty: Improper installation. Installation of tires with a diameter greater than the O.E.M. tire diameter without compensating gear reduction such as portals, transmission gearing or both. See DURACLUTCH Weight Chart – Tire Size. Not performing prescribed routine maintenance by removing the clutch housing every 1000 miles to 1) blow the dust out of the primary clutch packs and secondary clutch, 2) examine the belt, movable sheave clutch packs and other components for abnormal wear indicating a problem needing corrective action. Not insuring adequate and continuous cooling air through the clutch housing. This includes intake vents and outlets plugged with snow, dust or debris. SVI offers an Engine and Clutch Intake Kit that prevents vehicle intakes from plugging with snow and dust. Use of an improper belt. Improper tuning, such as incorrect primary weights and springs and secondary cams. Water in the clutch housing. Abnormal dust conditions such as abrasive dust or running in very dusty conditions without filters or particle separators. Driver abuse such as continuing to operate in HI gear when LO gear is the proper gear.See Owner’s Manual Supplement. The RANGER/RZR vehicle is covered by its respective Polaris warranty. The DURACLUTCH limited warranty does not cover the RANGER/RZR vehicle or its components. This warranty replaces all previous warranties expressed or implied.

The Duraclutch upgrade and General are like kindred spirits

Posted by Michael Miller on Jul 28th 2022

Thankfully reading a few threads on the internet, it was fairly easy to find Gilomen Innovations. Back story: I bought my 22’ general in February of this year, I quickly put on 1,200 miles before realizing I need to make a change. I live on a large track of land with more than 12 miles of winding trails that I ride almost daily. Here are a few reasons for me to upgrade: 1) Whine / noise at low speed with the factory clutch. As you can imagine, with the factory clutch I hear this awful noise / whine all the time traveling at lower speeds. 2) Belt slap or whatever folks call it. Example: I find some straight trail and put the pedal down only to let off hear the noise of belt hitting plastic. This sound might be minor to some folks but kind of embarrassing for a machine that cost 20k new, it’s like the something is not right in the factory setup. 3) Continuous belt engagement / EBS, The continuous belt engagement makes for a smooth ride and provides me a “more-in-control” feel on tight trails with sharp turns, lots of trees, and elevation changes. This clutch upgrade corrected everything I felt was wrong with the factory clutch and left nothing else for me to desire. The Duraclutch upgrade and General are like kindred spirits.

Absolutely amazing, far above and beyond stock oem clutch! I did have an issue with misfire codes but Gilomen came through on that and got it fixed! You guys rock and are much appreciated!

    Duraclutch in 2018 General 1000

Posted by Chuck Stephens on Sep 2nd 2020

My General now operates the way should have from the factory. Smooth from stopped to start. Engages just above an idle. Nice little up-shift. No nose-crushing engine braking. Slight backshift as you decellerate to a stop. Much quieter than the stock clutch. If you install this clutch, have the misfire codes minimized in your ECU. Gilomen Innovations can take care of this for you.

Awesome Awesome Awesome. I got tire of belt slap and Polaris won't warranty issues past a couple belts so after reading reviews I purchased Duraclutch and what a difference. Power comes on strong and smooth. Adds engine braking which I did not have before and its great. Easy install.
