Description

This is for the Performance ECU Tune only.   Does not include a clutch kit or any other items. You would need to select those items seperatly.  If you are looking for the full performance tune kit that includes clutching please select that product in the products lineup.  Do not buy this tune and expect it to perform properly with stock clutching or an inferior clutch kit.   

Gilomen Innovations Polaris Ranger 1000 G5 100 HP ECU tune.  Each tune is setup specifically for your exact model and tire size. This tune turns your slow doggy Ranger in to a powerful, fun, fast and very responsive machine when proper clutching is applied! The three position performance switch on the dash remains fully functional. The "work" and "standard" modes stay stock while the "Performance" mode offers all out power!. If your machine is equipped with turf mode I can assure you it will stay fully functional just as it was designed to be. This tune does not cause any codes / check engine lights. It allows 100% power in All gears. The seat-belt limiter is disabled. This tune version is the most aggressive and only reflash currently offered by Gilomen Innovations for the 1000cc Ranger models. It performs great on 87 octane gas and even better on 91 octane gas. All engine protections are left in place. Fuel and timing maps are revised for peak performance on pump gas while keeping your piston crown temps and valves cooler than stock. Additional protection is offered by lowering the cooling fan temp from 205 degrees down to 190 to keep your engine running cooler and lasting longer. Rev limiter is raised to a safe 8800 RPM, Speed limiters in all gears are eliminated. Clutch tuning is absolutely needed with this tune.  The stock clutching is designed to run at 6100-6400 RPM which is way too low for this tune, after this ECU tune the peak power is up over 7000 rpm.  If you want full potential out of this tune you absolutely NEED to re-clutch.  Once you receive the ECU just plug it in and you are ready to go. All of our tunes are developed in house with our engine dynamometer using the best tuning strategies known. Many other tuning companies use tune developers from over seas to design their tunes. That creates less than ideal final product because communications back and forth with the developer can be difficult and time consuming.

If you purchase an ECU tune from our website and are sending in your original ECU for us to tune you do not need to print and fill out the customer information form because all of your machine and customer info is filled out during checkout online. Please just put a note in the box with your name so we know its yours when it arrives. I have had several people ask if their heater will work as good in the winter after the 20 degree cooler fan temps and the answer is absolutely yes. I have tested this during the harsh winter in Minnesota on my personal machine and found the heat works exactly the same. The reason for this is because the engine has a 180 degree thermostat and during the winter the cooling fan rarely comes on with or without a tuned ECU but the thermostat is always maintaining proper engine temp to keep the heater core hot.

Once we receive your ECU in our shop, we will reflash your ECU & send it back to you within one-business day! EZ LYNK AUTO AGENT 2 REMOTE TUNE

If you are flash tuning your machine yourself using the EZ LYNK AUTO AGENT 2 device you will need to Lynk your vehicle to Gilomen Innovations through the EZ Lynk Auto Agent app on your android or apple phone. Lynk your vehicle to our technician account terry@gilomeninnovations.com

Once you Lynk your vehicle to Gilomen Innovations we will configure your new tune and send it through the cloud to your app on your phone so you can flash tune your machine if you already purchased the tune through our website. No tune credits or other fees are involved when using this device.  If you are renting an EZ LYNK device from Gilomen you have 30 days to return the device for a $480 refund.  If you purchase the device to keep, then the device is not returnable after it has been used to flash the machine.  The EZ lynk device can be used on unlimited machines with a Gilomen-provided tune for each individual machine.

Gilomen does not offer support regarding the EZ LYNK device or application.  We simply provide this device as another avenue to tune your machine. 

 

DYNOJET POWER VISION REMOTE TUNE 

If you are flash tuning your machine yourself using a dyno jet device you will need to email us the STK file and the PV-INFO file so we can configure a tune for your machine and email it to you.  Email your STK and PV-INFO file to terry@gilomeninnovations.com

HP TUNERS REMOTE TUNE

If you are flash tuning your machine yourself using the HP Tuners device you will need to email us the vehicle vin #, the stock file that you read out of the machine, and your HP Tuners serial number / interface ID # which is on the back of your device.  It is your responsibility to have the knowledge to use the HP tuners device to flash your machine.  You are responsible to obtain the proper credits to license your vehicle vin # on your device. You need to purchase a tune on our website first.     I started with just a clutch kit from Gilomen and after the installing the clutch kit, was extremely pleased with the huge impact that the kit had on the Ranger. The difference with engagement, RPM control and overall clutching performance was so impactful, I spoke with Brady and decided to purchase the Gilomen Performance Tune. Once the Tune was installed, the combination of the clutch kit and Tune, totally changed how the Ranger now performs. The engine runs noticeably smoother, throttle response is crisper, but not jerky, very responsive and extremely smooth. The difference between the factory Tune and The Giloment Tune was more than what I expected even after watching a number of customers videos and reading their comments. With the Tune, the Ranger accelerates and pulls much harder from the factory Tune and in all honesty, the Ranger performs much better than I expected. Brady from Giloment was very helpful and very gracious in answering all my emails and questions before I even ordered anything from Gilomen, thanks Brady!

    Tuned Force Turbo Ranger. Terry was awesome helping me tune my rebuilt ranger using dynojet. Process was simple, sent him dynojet data, rode around creating data log and email them back. He was quick to responded, throughly went through the data and explained it to me. Fixed my air fuel ratio and added additional protections to the tune. Thanks so much for your help.

    I wasn’t 100% sure on buying the tune, but I promise it will be the best investment to your machine! The torque and the power my buggy has now is insane! Just buy the tune. You’ll be glad you did! The process was easy and quick. Took less than 30 minutes to get it done. Terry was very efficient and his wife is awesome! Great people all around!!

    Everything seems to work as I expected, only in glitch…. It seemed to make the some light and interior leds flash. Also, at first the power windows didn’t function, but I went though the start up a few times and so far it has corrected.

    I was able to get the Gilomen tune sent to me via Email to add to the tunes that my Dyno Jet tuner. I was not pleased with the Dyno Jet tunes that they offered so I contacted Gilomen and it was absolutely no problem for them to send the tune by Email to me. The tune is nothing short of fantastic. This combined with the Fuel saver clutch from Gilomen have made the machine perfect for my uses. Lots of power and less belt slippage! AND I can put the tune back to stock if I need to take it to the dealer for any engine warranty work!. TY :)

    I’ve had my Polaris Razor and my Polaris Ranger both tuned by Gilomen innovations. When my 2023 Northstar comes in, I’ll be having that ECU tuned Also, what a great difference it makes.
