Description

Kit Includes:

  • ECU tune
  • Blackmax adjustable clutch kit (comes pre-set for your machine)
  • 56-66 Helix (you can choose EBS or NON EBS Type)
  • Secondary clutch spring (works for tires "27-35") 

If you want arm stretching acceleration, amazing low end grunt / torque, lighting fast response, smooth operation, and sweet top end speed then this kit is for you!  It has it all!! 

The G6 reflash is the most aggressive and only reflash currently offered by Gilomen Innovations for the 1000cc General models. It performs great on regular pump gas. All engine protections are left in place, so your engine stays running safe. Fuel and timing maps revised for peak performance on pump gas. I have found that Polaris has their factory tuning designed in order to pass strict EPA testing. The revised timing and fuel maps allow the engine to make more power with cooler piston crown and valve temps. The cooling fan on temp is lowered from 205F to 190F degrees to keep your engine running cooler and lasting longer. Rev limiter is raised to 9200 RPM, Speed limiter in high gear is disabled, Speed limiter in low gear raised to 45 MPH. Turf mode stays fully functional if your machine is equipped with it. Speeds can exceed 85 MPH with this tune. Once you get the new ECM simply plug it in, and you are ready to go. 8-10 HP gain over stock. Price includes shipping to you. It is your responsibility to get your ecu to me. Turn around time is 1 business day.

UPDATE 3/12/2018 Many Polaris models with stock ECU programming suffer from false misfire codes (65590, 65591, 65592) due to drive belt issues, excessive tire spin, constant high speed driving, or for no apparent reason at all. Polaris made these codes way too sensitive & are unable to delete the codes. Our newest version tunes 3/12/2018 and later will eliminate the false check engine codes 65590, 65591, 65592!! If you are a Polaris dealership that has unhappy customers because of these false codes, please call us, we can help restore your customers' faith in their Polaris machine!

TUNE PROCEDURE WHEN SENDING US YOUR STOCK ECU:

Write your name on your ECU or a slip of paper to send along with your ECU. You ship your ECU to us with any carrier you wish. Once we receive your ECU in our shop, we will reflash your ECU & send it back to you within one-business day! EZ LYNK AUTO AGENT 2 REMOTE TUNE

If you are flash tuning your machine yourself using the EZ LYNK AUTO AGENT 2 device, you will need to Lynk your vehicle to Gilomen Innovations through the EZ Lynk Auto Agent app on your android or apple phone. Lynk your vehicle to our technician account terry@gilomeninnovations.com

Once you Lynk your vehicle to Gilomen Innovations, we will configure your new tune and send it through the cloud to your app on your phone so you can flash tune your machine if you already purchased the tune through our website. No tune credits or other fees are involved when using this device.  If you are renting an EZ LYNK device from Gilomen you have 30 days to return the device for a $480 refund.  If you purchase the device to keep, then the device is not returnable after it has been used to flash the machine.  The EZ lynk device can be used on unlimited machines, with a Gilomen-provided tune for each individual machine. 

If you need assistance with using the device or application, you will need to contact EZ LYNK support https://www.ezlynk.com/support/   

Gilomen does not offer support regarding the EZ LYNK device or application.  We simply provide this device as another avenue to tune your machine. 

 

DYNOJET POWER VISION REMOTE TUNE 

If you are flash tuning your machine yourself using a dyno jet device, you will need to email us the STK file and the PV-INFO file so we can configure a tune for your machine and email it to you.  Email your STK and PV-INFO file to terry@gilomeninnovations.com 

You need to purchase a tune on our website first. 

GILOMEN INNOVATIONS DOES NOT OFFER TECHNICAL SUPPORT FOR THE DYNOJET DEVICE.  IF YOU ARE HAVING TROUBLE USING THE DEVICE, YOU WILL NEED TO CONTACT DYNOJET SUPPORT.  

 

HP TUNERS REMOTE TUNE

If you are flash tuning your machine yourself using the HP Tuners device you will need to email us the vehicle vin #, the stock file that you read out of the machine, and your HP Tuners serial number / interface ID # which is on the back of your device.  It is your responsibility to have the knowledge to use the HP tuners device to flash your machine.  You are responsible to obtain the proper credits to license your vehicle vin # on your device. You need to purchase a tune on our website first. GILOMEN INNOVATIONS DOES NOT OFFER TECHNICAL SUPPORT FOR THE HP TUNERS DEVICE.  IF YOU ARE HAVING TROUBLE USING THE HP TUNERS DEVICE OR THEIR SOFTWARE, YOU WILL NEED TO CONTACT HP TUNERS SUPPORT.

    install was very easy. instructions were clear and simple. I did snap the original belt after a few miles so I ordered the WBB. Will post a review on performance once I get a few trail miles on.

    This company for sure has the best customer service i have ever had. I sent my ecu overnight and they shipped it out the next day 2 hours after receiving it. Im not sure anyone could match that. I will definitely recommend them to anyone and will definitely use them in the future.

    2017 General ECU and Clutch upgrade.

    While I haven't had the chance to run this set up ...installing a new engine...waiting on some parts. From the time I ordered and sent them my ECU, to the time it was in my hands was less than 2 weeks. Pretty good considering I live across the states. They always E Mailed me when they received my ECU and when it shipped...same day by the way. I know several who have this kit...not one complaint ! Can't wait to get it running ! Thanks !!!

    I was about to trade this POS in till I read reviews on the ecu tune performance package.. Yeah its not cheap, but can you put a price on excellence. This General was making me crazy. After I put in the tune and clutch parts, it has been smooth sailing. THANK YOU GILOMEN!!!

    This was a great experience. The tune and clutch kitI makes the machine run as it should have from the factory. My machine continuously hit the RPM limiter and threw codes. The dealer acted like it was some strange circumstance that I unusual. News flash, it happens to all of them and this fixes the problem. Thanks Gilomen!

    Worth the money!

    Along with this package I also bought 5e Diamond rollers to replace the square pucks in the secondary clutch and the recommended belt. I have no idea which of the items made the most improvement in my General, but I will give these specifics. Before doing this conversion: 1. My General would overheat and go into “Limp home “ mode, hitting about 232 degrees. It’s “normal” temperature was about 217 degrees. 2. Throttle response was sluggish. 3. Cruising at about 32 mph, the engine was turning 6000 rpms. After installing the new items and giving the belt the proper break in,: 1. Under NO circumstance I’ve encountered does the temperature go over 190 degrees. 2. Throttle response and acceleration are LEAGUES better. 3. Now, 6000 rpms has me cruising at 47 mph. Bottom line: One satisfied customer here!

    The ECU changes are an amazing upgrade and improvement. Being able to rev out higher in Low Range was great running Ironclads in Colorado altitude. The clutch was as well a complete improvement on performance. I added more magnets to the 3rd hole after testing, however on not as steep terrain the given set up was great. I would highly recommend this kit.

    Ordered this kit last November and finally decided to install it this weekend, was not expecting it to make such a noticeable difference. Performance is a big improvement but the best part is how much smoother it feels ... great product
