Description

This is for the Performance ECU Tune only.   Does not include a clutch kit or any other items. You would need to select those items seperatly.  If you are looking for the full performance tune kit that includes clutching please select that product in the products lineup.  Do not buy this tune and expect it to perform properly with stock clutching or an inferior clutch kit.   

We have developed the ultimate ECU tune for the General 1000 XP model!  The G6 ECU reflash brings out all available power from the Prostar 1000 engine! It opens up all of the power limiting governors to give you instant hard pulling power!  It performs great on regular pump gas. All engine protections are left in place so your engine stays running safe. Fuel and timing maps revised for peak performance. I have found that Polaris has their factory tuning designed in order to pass strict EPA testing which is hard on engine internals and provides limited power production. The revised timing and fuel maps allow the engine to make more power with cooler piston crown and valve temps. The cooling fan “ON” temp is lowered from 205F to 190F degrees to keep your engine running cooler and lasting longer on those hot days. Rev limiter is raised to a safe 9200 RPM, Speed limiter in high gear is disabled, Speed limiter in low gear raised to 45 MPH. Turf mode stays fully functional if your machine is equipped with it. Speeds can exceed 85 MPH with this tune. Once you get the tuned ECU simply plug it in and you are ready to go. 10.7 HP gain over stock. Price includes shipping to you. It is your responsibility to get your ecu to me if you chose to send yours in for tuning. Turn around time is 1 business day.  Clutch tuning is absolutly needed for this ECU tune to deliver power properly. The stock clutch calibration will not allow the engine to operate at the correct power curve / RPM.

If you are not an experienced clutch tuner, I recommend purchasing our tune / clutch performance package kit.

False Misfire Codes:  Many Polaris models with stock ECU programming suffer from false misfire codes ( 65590, 65591, 65592 ) due to drive belt issues, excessive tire spin, constant high speed driving, or for no apparent reason at all. Polaris made these codes way too sensitive & are unable to delete the codes. Our newest version tunes 3/12/2018 and later will eliminate the false check engine codes 65590, 65591, 65592!! If you are a Polaris dealership that has unhappy customers because of these false codes please call us, we can help restore your customers faith in their Polaris machine!

RE-TUNE PROCEDURE WHEN SENDING US YOUR STOCK ECU:

Write your name and or your order number on your ECU or on a slip of paper to send along with your ECU. You ship your ECU to us with any carrier you wish. EZ LYNK AUTO AGENT 2 REMOTE TUNE

If you are flash tuning your machine yourself using the EZ LYNK AUTO AGENT 2 device you will need to Lynk your vehicle to Gilomen Innovations through the EZ Lynk Auto Agent app on your android or apple phone. Lynk your vehicle to our technician account terry@gilomeninnovations.com

Once you Lynk your vehicle to Gilomen Innovations we will configure your new tune and send it through the cloud to your app on your phone so you can flash tune your machine if you already purchased the tune through our website. No tune credits or other fees are involved when using this device.  If you are renting an EZ LYNK device from Gilomen you have 30 days to return the device for a $480 refund.  If you purchase the device to keep, then the device is not returnable after it has been used to flash the machine.  The EZ lynk device can be used on unlimited machines with a Gilomen-provided tune for each individual machine. 

If you need assistance with using the device or application you will need to contact EZ LYNK support https://www.ezlynk.com/support/   

Gilomen does not offer support regarding the EZ LYNK device or application.  We simply provide this device as another avenue to tune your machine. 

 

DYNOJET POWER VISION REMOTE TUNE 

If you are flash tuning your machine yourself using a dyno jet device you will need to email us the STK file and the PV-INFO file so we can configure a tune for your machine and email it to you.  Email your STK and PV-INFO file to terry@gilomeninnovations.com 

You need to purchase a tune on our website first. 

GILOMEN INNOVATIONS DOES NOT OFFER TECHNICAL SUPPORT FOR THE DYNOJET DEVICE.  IF YOU ARE HAVING TROUBLE USING THE DEVICE YOU WILL NEED TO CONTACT DYNOJET SUPPORT.  

 

HP TUNERS REMOTE TUNE

If you are flash tuning your machine yourself using the HP Tuners device you will need to email us the vehicle vin #, the stock file that you read out of the machine, and your HP Tuners serial number / interface ID # which is on the back of your device.  It is your responsibility to have the knowledge to use the HP tuners device to flash your machine.  You are responsible to obtain the proper credits to license your vehicle vin # on your device. You need to purchase a tune on our website first. GILOMEN INNOVATIONS DOES NOT OFFER TECHNICAL SUPPORT FOR THE HP TUNERS DEVICE.  IF YOU ARE HAVING TROUBLE USING THE HP TUNERS DEVICE OR THEIR SOFTWARE YOU WILL NEED TO CONTACT HP TUNERS SUPPORT.

    Finally got to try the tune out today and it impressed me above and beyond what I expected. My General has 32’s and stock clutching. Really woke the machine up. Wish I had the Gilomen tube from the start!

    I am very happy I did this up front on my new general! I was having an issue similar to "cruise control" where I would let off the gas and it would continue to stay reved up to around 5000 rpm's. Terry at Gillomen said he thought he could fix this while doing the tune on the ECU. In addition to all the great improvements in power and throttle response, my unwanted "crusie control" is gone. Thanks Terry!

    2022 General XP4 Ride Command

    With only 7 miles on my new machine I installed a Duraclutch, Gilomen performance tuned ECU, and GGB exhaust. While I now have 11 miles on my machine the delta is huge. My ECU arrived at Gilomen Innovations at 10am on a Tuesday and it was back to UPS by 2pm. I had all my new parts installed on Saturday….. Just need it to warm up so I can complete the break in and get my baby out on some Utah trails.

    Received my ECU back from Gilomen in a week, shipment was delayed a day due to weather. Saturday I installed the new tune and GGB trail exhaust. Wow…..what a difference. I went for a ride to the store, still trying to break her in since I now have 11 miles on my machine. The difference between stock clutching, ECU, and exhaust is mind blowing. As an Aerospace engineer I research every part going on my machine in great detail, and if you are in the fence don’t hesitate. Gilomen tune is the heart of my new ride!

    This tune made all the adjustments I could have asked for. It's faster,smoother, runs cooler and responds faster. I'm completely satisfied and recommend this tune to anyone that's wants more out of their machine.
