Gilomen Innovations has spent hundreds of hours developing and testing our 17-18 Polaris 1000 Ranger G5 100 HP ECU Flash tune. Countless hours were spent on our engine dynamometer testing and tuning along with hundreds of hours field-testing for durability to produce the absolute finest most refined ECU tune available This tune is for all the 2017 1000 Ranger models, and 2018 1000 Crew models. We have special versions developed that are applied to the High lifter, Northstar, and Hunter Edition models. The 2018+ 1000 XP 3 person New Body Style takes a different tune, see our other ECU tuning page for details on that model. We have unlocked all the limiters in the ECU to achieve MASSIVE horsepower gains throughout the RPM curve. The factory ECU programming limits the throttle valve opening angle when the throttle pedal is pressed 100%. With our G5 tune, you get 100% of the available power when 100% throttle pedal is applied. There are many areas in the ECU maps that I change to get rid of the EPA friendly boggy lean condition at part throttle cruising. This allows your motor to run cooler, last longer and be way more responsive. This tune greatly increases your Rangers' ability to do work, farming tasks, and take you to your hunting location because of the better low speed drivability and way more power on tap for when you get into sticky situations and need power to get you through. Max HP after the tune is 98-102 hp @ over 7000 RPM. Top speeds can exceed 75mph. Clutch tuning is absolutely needed when using this tune. See our clutch kit options when purchasing an ECU tune kit.

If you purchase an ECU tune from our website and are sending in your original ECU for us to tune, you do not need to print and fill out the customer information form because all of your machine and customer info is filled out during checkout online. Please just put a note in the box with your name so we know it's yours when it arrives. Clutch tuning is absolutely needed with this tune to let it perform properly. That is why I offer this ECU tune with a clutch kit to allow the engine to run at the RPM where peak hp is. The stock clutching is designed to run at 6100-6400 RPM, which is way too low for this tune. If you want full potential out of this tune, you NEED to re-clutch. The clutch kits we offer are designed around the power profile of the tuned ECU. Our clutching gets rid of the horrible factory clunk / jerk at take off that the 1000 ranger is known for. Take off is very smooth yet very responsive. I have had many people comment how smooth the machine drives after our clutching and ECU tune. Drivability at slow speeds is greatly improved! The Elite Shift clutch kit that comes in the ECU tune kit includes primary clutch spring and weights, along with detailed install instructions and torque specs. No special tools or pullers are needed to install the clutch kit. Most people can install the clutch kit in 30 minutes. Once you get the ECU and clutch kit simply install the clutch kit and plug in the ECU and you are ready to go. If you are running larger than 29" tires you will need to purchase the Mudder Secondary Spring which will squeeze the drive belt harder, preventing belt slippage. You also have the option to chose our high performance BlackMax clutch kit, which offers adjust-ability for custom clutch tuning. Price includes shipping to you. Turn around time is 1 business day. I have had several people ask if their heater will work as good in the winter after the 20 degree cooler fan temps, and the answer is absolutely yes. I have tested this during the harsh winter in Minnesota on my personal machine and found the heat works exactly the same. The reason for this is that the engine has a 180 degree thermostat and during the winter the cooling fan rarely comes on with or without a tuned ECU, but the thermostat is always maintaining proper engine temp to keep the heater core hot.

UPDATE 3/12/2018 Many Polaris models with stock ECU programming suffer from false misfire codes (65590, 65591, 65592) due to drive belt issues, excessive tire spin, constant high speed driving, or for no apparent reason at all. Polaris made these codes way too sensitive & are unable to delete the codes. Our newest version tunes 3/12/2018 and later will eliminate the false check engine codes 65590, 65591, 65592!! If you are a Polaris dealership that has unhappy customers because of these false codes please call us, we can help restore your customers' faith in their new Polaris machine!

Write your name on your ECU or a slip of paper to send along with your ECU. You ship your ECU to us with any carrier you wish. Once we receive your ECU in our shop, we will reflash your ECU & send it back to you within one-business day! EZ LYNK AUTO AGENT 2 REMOTE TUNE

If you are flash tuning your machine yourself using the EZ LYNK AUTO AGENT 2 device, you will need to Lynk your vehicle to Gilomen Innovations through the EZ Lynk Auto Agent app on your android or apple phone. Lynk your vehicle to our technician account terry@gilomeninnovations.com

Once you Lynk your vehicle to Gilomen Innovations, we will configure your new tune and send it through the cloud to your app on your phone so you can flash tune your machine if you already purchased the tune through our website. No tune credits or other fees are involved when using this device.  If you are renting an EZ LYNK device from Gilomen you have 30 days to return the device for a $480 refund.  If you purchase the device to keep, then the device is not returnable after it has been used to flash the machine.  The EZ lynk device can be used on unlimited machines, with a Gilomen-provided tune for each individual machine.

Gilomen does not offer support regarding the EZ LYNK device or application.  We simply provide this device as another avenue to tune your machine. 

 

DYNOJET POWER VISION REMOTE TUNE 

If you are flash tuning your machine yourself using a dyno jet device, you will need to email us the STK file and the PV-INFO file so we can configure a tune for your machine and email it to you.  Email your STK and PV-INFO file to terry@gilomeninnovations.com

HP TUNERS REMOTE TUNE

If you are flash tuning your machine yourself using the HP Tuners device you will need to email us the vehicle vin #, the stock file that you read out of the machine, and your HP Tuners serial number / interface ID # which is on the back of your device.  It is your responsibility to have the knowledge to use the HP tuners device to flash your machine.  You are responsible to obtain the proper credits to license your vehicle vin # on your device. You need to purchase a tune on our website first. GILOMEN INNOVATIONS DOES NOT OFFER TECHNICAL SUPPORT FOR THE HP TUNERS DEVICE.  IF YOU ARE HAVING TROUBLE USING THE HP TUNERS DEVICE OR THEIR SOFTWARE, YOU WILL NEED TO CONTACT HP TUNERS SUPPORT.

    By far the best upgrade I have done. It’s like a whole new machine. I have 32s on my ranger and before I bought this kit it was a bit sluggish off the line. Now it’s an Absolute animal. Clutch engagement is so smooth now the jerkiness is completely gone. The throttle response is awesome. Wish I got this kit when I first got the ranger. You get way more than you pay for.

    Wow, thank you for all the work you did dialing in this tune... It is amazing. My 2018 Ranger Crew XP 1000 is like a totally different machine. So much more power, but way smoother!

    Couldn’t be happier with the ecu tune and clutch kit I received, it has awakened my 2017 ranger high lifter. Now has a smooth take off, very responsive at all speeds and unleashed all that extra hp.... Worth every penny!
