The Ranger clutch and engine air intake kit is not some fancy dryer hose fabricated together from the local hardware store. Our engineers realized that during certain conditions engine protection and, performance was being compromised. Conditions like snow dust, mud, water, and air dust. The kit still utilizes the stock intake locations, while we have come up with a way to draw extra clean air into that. The kit also adds additional, cool fresh air into the clutch housing, while using the same engine air intake method.
Quality is something SVI works hard at achieving. After countless hours researching hoses, we have found a commercial-grade quality hose that can stand up to the toughest conditions of our client’s experience.
The history behind the kit is that it was initially designed to benefit clients using tracks. The stock intake filters on the side of the Ranger get plugged with snow, causing low engine performance, possible engine failure, and belt tempters to become so hot, the belt fails. After a significant amount of hours testing SVI engineers found a way to help get clean fresh air to both clutches and engine with our kit.
